|Neenaade Naa Kannada Movie Review|
Duration: 2 hours 25 minutes
Said to be based on a real-life story, Neenaade Naa, directed by Kandhas, revolves around two youngsters who remain friends even after their marriage failed. An ambitious Pavithra (Priyanka Kandwal) had to marry marry Dev (Prajwal Devaraj), a budding story writer, due to pressure from her grandfather. Pavithra eventually finds her life meaningless and musters courage to tell Dev about her many ambitions that include studying in Bangalore, going abroad and being self-reliant. They decide to separate amicably and also vow to remain good friends. While parents hope that Pavithra would reunite with Dev, she sticks to her stand and decides to go abroad. Dev helps Pavithra get a job and move to Canada. When she leaves, Pavithra's parents ask Dev about his future. The story takes a different turn with the arrival of Lakshmi (Ankitha Maheshwari). She tries to mend the differences between Dev and Pavithra.
The first half drags with some loosely knit sequences, however, the remaining part compensates with twists. This movie may not spring surprises at the drop of a hat, but leaves a feel-good feeling with an interesting climax.
Prajwal has portrayed his role brilliantly. Priyanka is equally good. Ankitha, as a bubbly girl, makes her presence felt. Bullet Prakash's poor performance is hard to miss. Music by Arjun Janya is impressive. Srinivas Ramayya's camera adds more charm to the movie.
