How do you protect your family after a murder at your residence? This is the central theme of the movie which shows a common man protect his family with the sheer strength of his intelligence and tact. The entire story takes place in a house in Moornad in the Malnad region. Tharun (Rohith), a young boy, is murdered by Sindhu (Swaroopini), elder daughter of Rajendra Ponnappa (Ravichandran), a cable operator, when he misbehaves with her mother Seetha (Navya Nair) and her. The mother and daughter bury the body near they house and this is watched by the younger daughter. Tharun is the son of a senior police officer, and with all leads pointing towards Rajendra's family, how does he protect his wife and daughters?

Director P Vasu knows that secret and has brilliantly incorporated it in the screenplay. Though the first half passes off without much delight, the second half keeps you on the edge of your seat. Every sequence in the second half is full of mystery and curious turns and twists.

Ravichandran carries the story forward with his matured performance, full of grace and dignity. Navya Nair has given life to her role. The characters of Asha Sharath, Achyuth Kumar, Rohith, Swaroopini, Unnathi, Suchendra Prasad is full of life and energy. Music by Ilyaraja is soothing to the ears. Madhu Neelakantan's cinematograph needs a special mention.
