Just Love Kannada Movie Review
|Just Love Kannada Movie Review|
Direction: Nagendra Urs
Duration: 2 hours 24 minutes
Hats off to Urs for introducing J Karthik as a actor in this romantic flick which has many commercial elements. The script is average and the narration lacks lively sequences. The only time viewers get some comic relief is when Achyuth Kumar calls his wife and asks: Swalpa Free iddiya?
Nandini (Neha Saxena) has run away from home because she doesn't want to marry the boy picked by her father Dhirendra Gowda (Sharath Lohithashwa). Surya (J Karthik) meets her in a bus and takes her home. The duo falls in love but Surya doesn't express his feelings. This makes Nandini return to her village. A stunned Surya follows her and tells Nandini's father that she loves him very much. But Nandini doesn't agree. Dhirendra Gowda gives Surya a week to prove that Nandini loves him. What follows is some drama with doses of action.
While Karthik has delivered a fine debut performance, he needs to work on his dialogue delivery. He comes across as more of a villain than hero. Neha Saxena and Achuth Kumar have done a good job. Sathish Babu's tunes are hummable and cinematography by Arun Suresh is brilliant.
