Rangan Style Kannada Movie Review

Rangan Style Kannada Movie Review

Cast: Pradep, Kannika Tiwari, Suddep, Depika Das, Sharath Lohithashwa, Tabla Nani
Direction: Prashanth
Genre: Romance
Duration: 2 hours 14 minutes

Rangan Style, as the name suggests, has his own way of doing things. He doesn't believe in romance thinking it will spoil one's peace of mind but eventually falls in love with a girl. Director Prashanth has worked well with the script and sequences. But the narration is very slow and boring. There are not many lively sequences and it tests your patience. The story drags in many sequences. There is a need to trim the movie by at least 20 minutes.

Ranga (Pradeep), owner of a CD shop, does not believe in love. To drive home his point, he does not keep any romantic CDs in his shop. But one fine day he meets Divya (Kannika Tiwari) who impresses him. He falls in love with her and that changes his lifestyle. Divya's uncle (Sharath Lohithashwa) opposes their relation and sends his henchmen to attack Ranga. With the intervention of a police officer (Sudeep), Divya's uncle and parents agree not to separate them. The director gives an interesting turn to the story where Ranga is found to be a flirt. With proof from Facebook, Divya decides to leave him. The story takes a tragic turn in the climax.
Full marks to Pradeep for his brilliant performance with excellent dialogue delivery. Kannika is impressive. Sharath Lohithashwa is at his best. Music by Gurukiran is okay. Cine Tech Soori has done a good job with his camera.
